What a lovely place. The grounds are spacious and very scenic, with waterfront, farmland, and manicured lawns and gardens. The Inn boasts perfectly restored 1840’s architecture, with modern amenities. Our room had 10 foot ceilings, crown molding, original marble fireplace, balcony, creaky wooden floors, 4 poster bed, private bath.
The service was impeccable, Continental breakfast was bountiful and tasty, taken in one of the many dining venues, an enclosed porch.
